Dian,

I was at the library this weekend and searched the 1920 Dallas Directory. This is what I found:

Hospitals, Homes and Assylums
Home of the Good Shepherd of Dallas under the direction of Sisers of Charity of the Incarnate World
536 W. Page

Also listed was:
St. Joseph's Orphanage on the corner of Page and Adams

Just thought St. Josephs might be a clue. Maybe this was the district for this type of Care.
