Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dear Jan: The copy of Elm Fork Settlements belonged to my grandmother, Nora Coonrod Pinyan. Her family, the Coonrod's and Smith's, lived in Farmers Branch. Most are buried either in Restland or Forest Lawn Cem. on Harry Hines. I'm not sure if I've any relatives buried in Webbs Chapel Cem., perhaps some of the Smiths. My mother would know and I'll check with her. I did alot of genealogy many years ago, but put it on hold while my kids were growing. They are both in and out of college now, so I've slowly started back. If I find anything out, I'll let you know. Also, if I can help you with anything, let me know. I grew up in that part of Dallas and still live fairly close.
Karyl
