I received two obits for Josephine Vaughan from the Dallas Library. One from The Dallas Times Herald-saying Josephine was buried in the Old Oak Cliff Cemetery. (Not Listed in records)Dec 5, 1891
Also copy from the The Texas Christian Advocate, much more info of wonderful person Josephine, and stated in the relations as wife, mother, and sister, she was true and faithful. (This says she was a mother) Written by Rev Bourland, that performed her marriage to William Love Vaughan in 1879.
Ed C Smith Funeral Home Records just says Dec 6, 1891 W L Vaughan paid $135.00.
Still no direct info connecting Josephine to Mabelle Vaughan Jan 1882, but does state Josephine was a mother.
Hope I can eventually tell of a connection. Thanks, Doris
