Dallas Morning News 2/17/1897

Seriously Cut.

Farmersville, Collin Co, Feb 16--Quite a serious affair happened here yesterday. James Bybee received several cuts and stabs, the most serious one in the throat, the knife scraping the jugular vein. The wound is serious, though not necessarily fatal. West Millican, his half brother, was arrested and released on a $200 bond.
