Dallas Morning News 3-2-1951
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar R. Sellers of Houston, formerly of Dallas, will be honored with a party Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Austin will be hosts to the 25 guests in their home, 5343 Waneta.
Mrs. Sellers and her daughter, Miss Nancy Carol Sellers, were also entertained with a dinner Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Victor C. Allen, 6335 Ellsworth, were hosts.
Daffodils and narcissus centered the table, which was covered with a handmade lace cloth. Frank McAfee showed colored travel films. Fifteen guests attended.
(Edgar is Edgar Ray Sellers of Dallas, according to Edgar's father's obit 9/12/1940. Father was H. R. Sellers, age 56, of Garland, TX. H. R. was born in Knoxville TN and came to Texas in 1900. He sufferd a stroke of paralysis at his home Tuesday morning.)
