Doris: Glad to hear that you got the picture/maps OK. Look, my psychic abilities were never very good and now they're even worse in my old age. You always manage to throw something new into the mix which totally confuses me, i.e., the Buckner reference. I didn't have a clue as to what you were referring to until I did a little looking and found out it was an orphanage. So, do you suspect that Maybelle/Mabelle Vaughn was an "inmate" there at one time? You mentioned that her guardian was possibly a dentist who had some connection with the Buckner Orphanage, right? Am I getting your drift or am I totally off track?
Another thing which has me confused is the W. G. Vaughn and Laura [Unknown] couple. You state that you haven't found out anything about this couple yet you mention them and suggest a possible link. Obviously, I don't think that you just invented this couple so how do you know about them? You don't say and that is a key piece of information, in my book.
Do you have some family lore about this lady? Seems like you must since you mention something about an aunt who helped her. Just curious, just how are you related to this person, indications are that she had no children?
