Thanks. I know all about the Buckner Cemetery on Loop 12, one of my great grandfather's was involved in it when it was started, a preacher. I was wondering about thar cemetery on Hatcher. My Hodges family was in that location back in the late 1800's. I even started out in the Lagow Elementry School there on 2nd Ave. in 1948. I lived at 3222 Rose Ln. before moving to Garland in 1949. My great grandfather, Lewis C. Hodges died in the area between 1890 and 1910 and I have never found where he was buried. He owned two partials of land there close to the 2nd Ave. and Hatched St. intersection. When I saw that Butler-Nelson Cemetery a couple of months ago when we went there driving around, I was wondering if he could be there, he was white. I am very interested now in the old Woodlawn there if you have any names? As I said, his name was Lewis C. Hodges and was shown as L. C. Hodges on the land platt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gerald
