Thankyou for the cemetery information - I really need to add it to Find-A-Grave, eh?
Tee hee.... you asked !!! I was born in southern California 61 years ago and there were at least 6 Kathy or Cathy in my classroom. Although I was an excellent student, I loved to talk and pass notes in class and mean ole Mrs Saul had a problem with that so she was always saying, "Ok Kathy/Cathy (who knew which one?) go to the cloak room for 15 minutes."
Well one day she said, "Ok Kathy/Cathy (who knew which one?) go to the cloak room for 15 minutes" and I didn't go. So she said it again and looked straight at me so I asked if she meant me and she said, "Of course, I mean you."
So while I was sitting in the cloak room pondering my fate I came up with a grand idea so I wouldn't get into more trouble for not having gone to the cloak room the first time she said to: I would add an "e" to the end of my name. When my cloak room time was up, I went to her desk and said, "Mrs Saul I really wasn't sure which Kathy/ Cathy you were telling to go to the cloak room and I'm sorry I didn't get up and go in there right away. Since there are so many Kathy/Cathy maybe you could write which one on the chalk board because I'm the only one who spells it Kathy-e." She said she never realized that. It worked like a charm and I have kept the "e" ever since.
Now you have the saga of "Kathy with an E" to tell your grandchildren !!!
Again my heartfelt thanks for your thoughtfulness,
