Hi Judy, I checked the Censuses and found the Dawson children living with the Helms family in 1930. A last child Grady must have been born after his father's death. Grady, male, b. TX, 5 yrs old.

I found a Wilma Etta Dawson b. Brown Co 5/20/1916 per birth cert #18274. Source: Texas Birth Index.

Check Jim Wheat's Dallas County Texas Archives, http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~jwheat/ and see if you can view her birth cert there.

If not you can order a copy from Texas Dept. State Health Services, http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/vs/default/shtm .
Generally birth certs list the father and mother.

You can also contact them for a copy of C.G.'s death cert. Generally death certs list the spouse's name. Successful Searching!
