Rev. T. E. Sherwood

I suspect that the Rev. T. E. Sherwood mentioned was Thomas Emory Sherwood (1835-1898), a Methodist minister, Lt. Colonel (Brigade Quartermaster) in the Confederate Army, and first mayor of Dallas, Texas.

I have a little bit more information on him, and a great deal of information on some of his ancestors if you are interested.

Best Regards,
