Here is a couple of obits that might interest you.

BURLESON C DEAN (From Dallas Morning News on 11/9/1969 Sec A Page 41

GRAND PRAIRIE- Funeral services for Burleson C Dean, 69, 1025 Birch, a Grand Prairie resident for most of his life, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Southland Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Southland Memorial Park.

Born in Mesquite, Dean died here Friday.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Elks Lodge, and First Christian Church. Dean was an Army veteran of World War I.

Survivors: two sisters, Mrs. Delia Higgason of Monroe, La., and Mrs. Jane Mancill of Grand Prairie; five brothers, Rube O. Dean of Tulsa, Okla., A. Odell Dean of Terrell and John Henry Dean, Copeland Dean, and Hix Dean of Grand Prairie.

The following appeared in the Dallas Morning News on April 15, 1968 Sec D Page 3

MRS. BURLESON DEAN
GRAND PRAIRIE- Mrs. Burleson Dean,64, of 1025 Birch, classified ad department manager for the Grand Prairie Daily News, died in Dallas Sunday.

A Corsicana native, she had been with the paper for 18 years. She had lived in Grand Prairie for 38 years and was a member of First Christian Church, Women's Auxillary of Veterans of World War I, and Woman's Auxillary of the VFW.

Survivors; husband; a brother, A. J. Gafford of Corsicana,; and a sister, Mrs. John W Ray of Kilgore.

Funeral arrangements were pending Sunday night with Southland Funeral Home.

Here is the obituary of the husband of Jane Dean Mancill. It ran in the Dallas Morning News on 6/5/1965 Sec D page 3

MANCILL
Hosea Jordan, Sr., 902 Oak St., Grand Prairie, passed away Friday in a Dallas hospital after a long illness. Survived by wife, Mrs. Jane Mancill, Grand Prairie; son, Hosea J. Mancill, Jr., Waxahachie; daughter, Mrs. Gwen Ruyack, Yonkers, N.Y.; brothers, W.A. Mancill, St. Petersburg, fla.,Thomas M. Mancill, Rule, Texas; Merrell M Mancill, Big Spring; sisters, Mrs. J. M. Shaw, Abilene, Mrs. H. E. James, Oklahoma City, Mildred Mancill, Fort Worth, Mrs. W. O. Holden, Haskell, Texas; four grandchildren. Services, 3 p.m. Sunday, First Baptist Church. Dr. J. H. Wright officiating. Interment Southland Memorial Cemetery.
