Here's an obit for a Gertrude Wade who died June 15, 1965. Is this a possibility?
Mrs. Gertrude Wade
PALESTINE. Texas (Sp) Mrs. Gertrude Finley Wade, 79, died Monday in a Palestine Hospital.
A former resident of 737 Sunset in Dallas, she had lived in Palestine with her sister since March.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lamar and Smith Chapel in Dallas, with burial in Rosemound Cemetery at Commerce.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Horne of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Tom Willison of Palestine; one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
There is also an obit for Mrs. Thomas P Willock who lists Miss Gertrude Wade of Chicago as a survivor.
There is also an obit for a Mrs. Gertrude Wade Rouse from 1974. She was 65 at that time and was survived by six sisters and four brothers.
