I am trying to locate descendants of John W. Harper and his wife Myrtle Augusta Herron or their daughter Annie L. Herron. I do NOT know the parent of Dr. Harper. I do not know when they married and there certainly could have been more children in the family.
I know more about the wife than the husband. She was born as the daughter of James Porter Herron and Mary Ann Sale Herron. She was born in AR but is found with her family in 1900 in Hill County, TX. Then Mary Ann is shown as a widow living in Clebure, Johnson Co., TX for 1910 census. Then she is found with her husband and daughter in Paducah in 1920.
Also living in the household is a sister of Mrs. Harper and her three children. Their surname was listed as Newsom/e, however it appears the same three children are listed with their mother back in Clebure under the surname of Brindley for 1920 census there. Somehow, Matilda Ethel Herron Brindley-Newsom/e is listed twice for the 1920 census in two different locations.

I cannot trace any member of that household past 1920.
