You probably have this info by now, but if the William Edwards you refer to was about age 56, his children living at home at that time were Calvin Jefferson,Robert Turner, and Sallie Ann Elvira Edwards. Not the one you were looking for. His wife was Martha Elvira (Patsy) Edwards. (Possibly a misreading of P.E. For some reason, the census takers frequently messed up her name.)
