Need information about the Asa M. Wolf famlly found on the 1880 Coryell County census. Asa was the father and had wife, Myra, and children Urah Lee, Georgia A., Willie, and Mittie. Asa's mother Malinda Wolf was also listed along with her sister Ann Jane Adams and her son Alexander Adams. Asa's sister Amanda Wolf is there in the household. This family came from AR to Texas - leaving AR in 1867 and living in Bell, Robertson, McLennan counties on the way to Coryell Co. Asa's first wife was Sarah Adams, daughter of John Quincy and Elizabeth Arivilla Tinnin Adams. She died some where along the way as her daughter Georgia A was born in AR in 1866 and her son Urah Lee Wolf was born in TX in 1868. I found the marriage record for Asa and the second wife, Myra Smith, in Robertson County in 1875. So the Wolfs and Adamss got to Coryell County between 1875 and 1880. John Quincy Adams is buried in the Burdett Cedmetery and I know nothing of the other people. Georgia A. Wolf married someone named Craig and had a son Lee Craig. That is the extent of knowledge about the family so any clue would be most helpful. Contact: dbton@yahoo.com
