Thank you for your response about the book on Coryell County families. My family actually had land that was incorporated into Ft. Hood when it was developed and were closer to Copperas Cove. I do plan to go to Gatesville in the next couple of months and will try to see a copy of the book prior to purchasing it. I also want to check on the deed for the land that my grandfather owned. Again, I do appreciate your information!
