Update on the JACKSON children: Laura (Lorie), Lula, Roy, Elsworth and John Moore Jackson, Jr. all file for their share of the J M JACKSON original patent in Comanche Co,Texas in 1907-1914. Their mother, Sally B PULIS JACKSON RODGERS is deceased by 1900. Laura seems to be the one starting the processing, but the paperwork does not mention her whereabouts. The courthouse did not have signed documents by Laura and Lula, however, one book is missing that held at least on document on this matter. The boys, Roy, Elsworth and John Moore Jackson, Jr are all living in Ardmore, Carter, OK. 1900 census has LeRoy(Roy) and Elsworth (orphans) living in Oklahoma with some of the PULIS family.
Laura, nor Lula have been located on census records.
Also Augustus James RODGERS, the stepfather had three children. Bessie, John W, and Samuel Frank RODGERS. Their mother died in 1896. Sometime between 1897 and 1910 they left for New Mexico. Where are the mother's buried? What happened to the sisters? Thanks Shirley
