I need information on this family: Alexander Harper Taylor, b. 6-9-1876 in TX, d. 3-7-1961 in Stephens Co., TX
Married about 1895 to Martha Louisa (Smith??) b. 9-1878 probably in Johnson Co., or COMANCHE CO., TX). If his wife Martha's name is Smith, she would be the daughter of Zedekiah & Francis P. Smith who had settled at one time in Comanche Co., TX. The Taylor children:
Velva A --b. 1900- Comanche Co
Dessa B.--b.1905, TX, m. Walter H. Bruce; settled in
YOUNG CO., TX
Clarence E.--b. 1908-- no info
Loyd--(female) b. 1911 in TX
Leo- b. 1917 Comanche Co., TX

The 1900 Comanche Co census shows Alexander had a farm in the Comanche county. He was in Throckmorton Co. in 1910 and back in Comanche Co. in 1920 in the Soda Springs community with a grocery store.
