Rock Island is in Colorado county, TX, way south of Denison, but west of Houston. Looks like Rock Island is located at the apex of the arch formed by Columbus, Wellis and Garwood of that county.

Sorry, I don't know where the cemetery is. Try getting in touch with their town government. They should be able to tell you. Or better yet, see if Colorado co. has a historical society. I friend recently found her ancestor's portrait was hanging in the (small) town's museum and a residen who was willing to take pictures in the cemetery for her! Of course she paid for the expenses.
