John Ten Cate--- Odd Fellows Cemetery????

My great grandmother had a brother named John Ten Cate. He was born in Allegan County Michigan on Feb 12, 1854. He was the son of Derk Ten Cate and Wilhelmina Lucas. He was quite a colorful character and earned a living as a horse dealer. He left his first wife and two children and remarried a lady named Ella Lloyd. They divorced and went their separate ways. The divorce was finalized in Noble County, Oklahoma on September 17, 1906. After this time he was never heard from again.

Anyway, I was speaking to a descendant of John and this descendant made mention of him being in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Colorado, Texas. I haven't been able to find a cemetery listing for this cemetery to find out if he is in fact buried there. I'm not sure how accurate the information is. It is reported that he died in Texas on February 23, 1908; however, I haven't been able to verify that information. If any one could shed some light on this hundred year old mystery, I would be eternally grateful. To this day, the descendants of his first marriage don't know what really happened to him. Thank you for reading my post.
