My grandfather Charles Renz was a semi-professional photographer in Colorado & Austin County from about 1907 to 1919. I have scanned and put 100 photos on an online album. The first few photos are some professional studio photos that I also had. After that, the majority are photos taken by my grandfather. There are some photos also taken by other people. I would love for people to see them because maybe more names/dates could be put to the photos. Some of the surnames that have been identified include: Renz, Caletka, Stuessel, Glueck, Schiller, Feller, Batla, and Stasny and many more. I still have a lot that are unidentified. The pictures were mainly taken around Bernardo Prairie, Cat Spring and Eagle Lake area. If anyone can identify a photo, please email me at nmclain@ev1.net and if you know anything about the photo and how that person knew my grandfather, I would love to hear about it.
