Is the Margaret listed as a daughter in the household of John W Gallagher in these two censuses, the Margaret wife of David Pharr
In the 1900 census a John W Galahar born Oct 1819 in SC is listed as son-in-law to David Pharr wife Margaret, which you referred to.

However my problem is that in the 1900 census in Mississippi a John W Gallagher born Oct 1819 in SC is listed as Father-in-law to EG McCauley who was married to Emily Gallagher listed in the earlier census as one of Margaret's sisters. She died and EG married Lula who is listed in the census.

Emily (Emma) is my gggrandmother. I have seen all the death info for JW in Lucas Texas and wonder if he is my JW but do not know how he could be in two places on June 9 1900 for the census. I am hoping you can show me that he is or is not mine. Do you have probate or an obit for the JW who died in Texa? I have not been able to find any of these records.

Thanks Gloria Hardcastle
