Well, he sounds like an interesting person, to say the least! Wonder how and why he got from east TX to Dublin by 1902?

The Gage in Eastland in 1920 sure is the right age - maybe it is D instead of P. Any luck tracking down any of Ludie and Sam's kids/grandkids?

I'm sure you have tried to locate descendants of Dee's siblings for any info. There weren't too many Americans who rode with Pancho Villa, but usually in these family stories there is some grain of truth.
