Looking for info or family connections to JEREMIAH and AMANDA HEWITT COLBERT, born in Tuscaloosa Co. Alabama...traveled with thier families sometime aft 1880 to Coleman Co. Texas.
It is believed Jeramaiah's 2 sisters Jenny and Sarah along with thier husband's name unknown JENNINGS. It is believed that Sarah's husband name could have been Dennis Jennings..they had a son MOODY JENNINGS, daughter LELA JENNINGS, and daughter unknown..
I have a picture given to me with a man and 2 young ladies...on the back is written, Sarah (Colbert) Jennings daughters..
the man was whereing a Texas RAnger Badge...this man could have their father, or brother Moody...or husband to one of the girls..
