RE: Henderson surname in Clay Co., my grandfather was Edward Franklin Henderson, married to Rebecca Wygal. They came to Clay Co., from Quinlan area. They resided in the Henrietta area, Joy, and finally settled in the Friendship Community. They are buried in the Joy Cemetery. There were six children. Loyd, Eugene, and Troy were sons, Hazel, BessieLee, and Emma were daughters. I am daughter of Hazel. There is extensive information available about this family's geneology. Hope this is a help.
