In 1930 Melvin E Johnson moved his large family from Rockwall to Childress Texas.
I found them on the 1930 census for Childress, Texas
Today I found a Texas death record,
Melvin Ellis Johnson
died 11 Jan 1951 Childress, Tx
This could be the father or the son.
Does Childress have a death index or cemetery index.
maybe cemetery books that some kind soul could do a lookup for me.
I'm really at a brick wall on this family, can't find any records past 1930 census and 1 birth record of the youngest child in Fannin Co, Tx 1928.

wife, Lourine E about 1884 maybe Rockwall, Texas (nickname Lou) Might have been married in Rockwall
Edward G Johnson 1901 TX wife Lela about 1900 TX
Irine, Rubia, Lee R, L C, Lareta
Louise 1902
The above two are from first wife that died in childbirth.
