1860-1870 Segraves,Seagroves

There is a Wesley Segraves on the 1860 mortality listing for Cherokee Co. and a William Segraves on the 1850 census. Trying to find a connection. I believe William Segraves to be the same William listed on the 1870 census with wife,Jane and children including my grandfather Mathias Jackson Seagroves. Any information on this family appreciated. Thanks.
