Seeking data on the following land and family: On July 19, 1835, Beverly Pool was granted one league of land through David G. Burnet's empresario contract with the Mexican authorities. The document indicates that Pool had a wife and four children (names not given) and bears Pool's mark, he being unable to sign his name. The land covered by this title is located in present Cherokee County. Beverly Pool lived in or near Washington Co, TX, in the late 1840s and early 1850s.
