I don't have any info on a marriage certificate but the name Sandefur caught my eye. I do not know if the Sandefer we have in our family lived in Cherokee Co., Tx or not. His name was Ol (or) O.L. Sandefer. Ol was pronounced like Aul. He married a woman(Angie Reynolds, her second married name) that had been married twice before. First time to a Collett?(no info) but there is a daughter named Mattie Fay Collett born in Collin Co., McKinney, Tx. She then married a Reynolds and had 3 boys....Jabe, J.C., Arthur Reynolds. Then to Ol Sandefer. They did not have children. We always called her Granny Reynolds or MaMa Reynolds. She was called that even when she married. She is buried in Kerrville, Tx. beside Ol Sandefer. Would you happen to have a Ol Sandefer in your family tree? Anything would help..we are at a stand still on this family. No records.
Thank you ,
Anna F. Wortham
