Vicki, I notice your kind help in looking up information in "Tree Talk" which seems nearly impossible to access outside if Texas. Are you willing to do other look ups?

My ancestor is listed in the online index for 7 volumes from 1983 to 1989 and the surname turns up in two others. There is one where he and his wife Martha are both named, which might be the most important (Oct 1983, pg. 6 and 8) or that might just be a transcription of the 1850 Census, which isn't important. I have no experience with this publication so I am not sure what to expect, but I think all these early records are in one vol. so if you have that and are willing I would be glad to either pay for you to copy and mail or maybe just summarize.

Very truly yours, J. Daniel Mahar
