I really appreciate you trying to help.

I could not find William Holsomback in 1840, either. LDS states he died before 1845.

Recently, I have come across another post that indicated that my Nancy may have been a "Smith". She and John Chandler had children...then she died shortly after the 1860 census. John Chandler remarried and had several more children. The information that my Nancy was a "Smith" came from a descendant of one of the children from his last marriage. That person had not gotten to that part of her research to verify it, yet. So, she had no documentation. But, it did give me another lead to work on.

Thank you, again. One of these days maybe the pieces will fall in place for us both.
