Hello Elizabeth: My gg grandmother was Frances (Roberts) Puckett (b 1814, GA) & married Andrew Jackson Puckett (b 1804, SC) in 1837, Coweta Co. GA. I don't know who Frances' parents were or where she was from, but believe her to be from the French line of Roberts who, as I understand it, were early settlers in Wilkes Co, GA.

I inherited a box of old pictures that belonged to their son, Wm Samuel Puckett (who moved to Lafayette Co. AR in 1888)& in the box was a picture of "Jessie Loving & Claude & Elbert Lindsey." Since one of the other sons settled in Upshur Co, TX, I'm hoping that I can connect these names to my Puckett/Roberts family & find more of their history.

Do any of your Roberts families have a Frances b 1814? Or, are these Lindsey names in your line? Thanks.
