Are you certain that you don't mean Welch, Texas?

There is a small, old cemetery outside of Welch, TX called Pride Cemetery.

About 2 yrs ago, my husband and I visited Pride Cemetery. A local directed us to the cemetery and mentioned that there were "Outlaws" in the cemetery. There are tombstones for the Outlaw Family in the cemetery.

A relative from Welch tells me that Pride used to be a little community center, but all that is there now is the cemetery among fields.

I believe that this Pride Cemetery is in Terry Co, TX, but it might be in Dawson Co. I know that there was a boundary dispute over it at one time. Welch, TX is not too many miles from Lamesa, TX.

Also, I have seen a listing of the graves somewhere on the internet.

Good luck with your Outlaws.
