Hi, Helen.

I looked back through my family history and a lot of the original Dr. Lum Newburn's nieces and nephews told me they were born at Newburn hospital, but of course, that may not have been the "real" name of the institution. Most of these children that I'm referring to were born between 1940 and into the 1970s. I don't know when C. L. Newburn changed it into a nursing home, but below is the address and phone number. Perhaps you friend could call and talk with them since the Newburn family still operates the
facility.
