I looked Calvin up in the 1910 census, it seems there were many kids still at home. It has that they had 14 children and 12 still living and 8 still living at Calvin's home. It showed that all members were black and that Calvin and Bell had only 1 marriage and they had been married for 30 years. All children in the home were single and all born in Texas. The census reads as follows:
Calvin Head 55 TX TX TX
Bell Wife 46 TX US US
Calvin Son 21
Alice Dau. 19
Allen Son 17
Willie Dau. 12
Tobe Son 14
Jesse Son 10
Eddie Dau 8
Zoadie Dau 5
Chummie Lawson-Grandson 9
Ida Smith-Granddau. 17
