Hummmmmmm! I am looking through my notes, and I see an Isaac Russell in Cherokee County that died in 1919. According to my notes, and I'm assuming that it's on his tombstone, that he was the son of Abe.

I see a CSA Pension file listing for an Isaac, # A-21359 in Cherokee County. That would certainly be worth checking out.

I will continue to look for information on your Isaac, and let you know if I run across anything new.
