John, Parilee, son Ron, dau Ethel, mth-in-law Mary Ellis are on the 1920 census Upshur Co, TX, next door is another Morris h/h, probably one of their sons. Now, if Parilee died in 1922 I'm guessing she died in Upshur Co, TX and probably buried there.

There is a J.W. Morris in Cass Co, TX 1930 census with different wife and a step daughter, probably your John. Above DC shows John is widowed, so his children probably had him moved back to Upshur Co, TX to be buried with his wife/their mother, Parilee.

You might try Upshur Co, TX GenWeb site -- http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txupshur/ -- Click on Upshur County Lookups. Seems like Ron Wade will do newspaper and cemetery lookups. Worth a try.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
