I would more than appreciate a picture of his grave. Thank you very much for the additional birth and death information. My line with his son James Benjamin Carlisle is at a standstill. James Benjamin married Lisa Smith in Cass County then went to Louisiana. He died while Lisa was carrying my aunt Bennie Carlisle. My mother said he was with one of his brothers on a train to go look for work and died on the train. His brother wrote his wife of his death. I don't know where he was buried. I would think his brother took him back to his family in Cass County. But who knows...I have Benjamin born March 8, 1866 and dying July 2, 1906. Lisa found out a few months after he was dead and buried. Do you have anything on James Benjamin Carlisle. It's been a while since I have looked at the Carlisle tree. My grandmother was the daughter of James Benjamin and Lisa. The great grandfather of my mother.

Anyway...thanks so much for the reply. I would like to keep in touch. l-sims@sbcglobal.net

Since thanks,
Linda Sims
