Linda, we may have communicated before. Roseanna Toal McAfee was my great great grandmother. My paternal grandmother was her granddaughter, Rosa Elizabeth "Bessie" McAfee of Corsicana. My grandmother went East to Sullins College, Bristol, Va. and married my grandfather there in Nov., 1908. She was born to McDuffie Wightman and his first wife, Arzilla Westbrooks. As far as I can tell there was only one other child to this union, a son named Elmer Fletcher, who died at age 15 yrs. and is buried next to his mom, Arzilla, who died in 1890. He went on to marry again to Helen Virginia Florer (when/where--??) and they had several other chilren. I was just posting a message on this site asking about obit/cemetery look-ups for "Wightman," who died in Laferia and Helen, his 2nd wife. I have "picked up" info that Roseanna's parents were Henry C. and Polly Wilson Toal but I don't have birth or death dates or exactly where they came from - was it North or South Carolina to Ms. to Texas? or did they go by Arkansas as did the McAfees?
