Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dorothy, check the Genealogy.com home page and try the different search areas where Matt BACA is intered. You may have to register FREE. Try it.
You may posted the info obtained in Texas Genealogy Message Board and perhaps a volunteer with Census records can help you.
Many state, county and big cities have libraries with genealogy departments to help rent/borrow the census records.
Check it out....Meanwhile, I do some more research on it.
I have checked the Cameron Co WWI file and BACA is not listed. He may be listed some other county like in Sabine, and Bell Counties. Check the immigration files from Mexico along the Texas border.
Jay
