FYI: "The Clarksville Standard" newspaper is a great source... Can't remember date it was published. The Dallas Public Library has it on microfilm - bet your Fort Worth Library does, too. I found when my gfather Wm W Jones was murdered on the sands of Red River in Jan 1888.

Also, I have Isham Kendrick in my Benson Family... I am sure Isham is a surname...
