Sartor/Pearce

I came across an obit that a Mrs. Pearce, mother of John and
Monroe Pearce died Oct. 5, 1900, at Admiral. Can anyone tell
me where Admiral is or was? I would appreciate any information
about this Pearce family. Mention was made that she was attended
by a Dr. Sartor.
This caught my attention as the given name of Monroe comes
down in in my Pearce line from N.E. Mississippi. We think
there was a Sartor connection as 1870 Census of Monroe Co., MS,
shows Ruth Pearce (b. 1810 TN) and her grandchildren (children of
her daughter Isabella (b.1835) living in the home of a Joseph Sartor.
Could this Admiral, TX, family have ties with the N.E. MS families?
Quite a few families left that area in the years following the Civil War
as times were so hard there.
