James Emmett Heath, 93, of Clyde, a former railroad worker, died at 8:15 a. m. Monday at Callahan General Hospital in Baird after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10 a. m. Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home.
The Rev. Larry Armentrout of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Clyde Cemetery.
Born Aug. 17, 1888, in Huntsville, where he was reared, he married Irene Flannagan March 1, 1943, in San Antonio. He was a railroad worker and later self-employed before retiring in 1957. He lived in Clyde since 1964 and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Ellis of Aldine; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Spradlin of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. H. H. Robins of Dallas, Mrs. Katie Peters of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. G. M. Click of LaMarque; a brother Curtis of Huntsville; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

according to his death certificate his father was James Wesley Heath and mother was Camille Everett.
