My husbands line is from the Callahan and surrounding areas and we have visited the Cottonwood Cem. many times and this past summer was surprised to find the grave of his great uncle, T. F. MERCER who died 1908, all by itself and overgrown in the far right corner as you go in the gate. Our grandchild found it to our great surprise and we wondered if someone might know the reason it would be so far from the rest of the graves. His wife, Addie (WHITZEL)MERCER, who died also in 1908, is buried by her sister, Carrie Lou and husband Emmit FOSTER. Carrie and Emmit are my husbands great grandparents. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
