Thanx Ferne for the information. I have the book, "Indianola, The Mother of Western Texas", in my private library collection. It is from this book that I wanted to get a better copy of the city map. About my Great-Grandfather Cheney Russell PROUTY, I found what I was looking for and placed his info on the PROUTY Genealogy Forum. If you go to that page, you can find his name in the topic. I have been invited to present my paper to the UV/UHV Library-Special Collections at Victoria, Texas. I am in the process of writing it and hopefully it will help many who are doing genealogy research in Indianola. Yours, Tyger
