Found the muster roll of the Iron Guards while looking through deeds in Caldwell Co., TX.
Here is the deed in full-

Muster Roll of the Iron Guards A Company organized in Caldwell County Texas to serve as mounted Rifleman, but who will serve as Infantry if required, Organized July 10th, 1861.
