Linda, if you have a copy of your Grandfather John Wesley Henson's Death Certificate it should indicate the name of the Funeral Home that provided services for the deceased as well as what the disposition was, cremation or burial. If he was buried the name of the cemetery would be shown.

The Funeral Home might have a record of who his parents were and his immediate survivors. Additionally the Funeral Home will have record of what newspapers the Obit. was reported in. Remember though that the information on the Certificate of Death, Funeral Home records and Obit. is only as good as the knowlege and memory of the "informant" of record.
