There were some Davidsons in Orange/Guilford Co., NC who married into a King family there. My research indicates that there is a pretty good chance that Willis B. Davidson was a member of that same overall Davidson family (out of VA). Do you have any idea if Martha Jane King was related to the above-mentioned King family that was in NC?

There seems to be a lot of confusion over who the father of Willis B. Davidson really was, but I suspect that his father was the William Davidson who was shown on the 1850 Limestone Co., AL census as age 61 and born in VA (and married to a Nancy....some say Nancy Abright, but I am not so sure). There was also an older William Davidson in Limestone on the same 1850 census (said to have been married to his SECOND wife by then; she was named Emmeriah, as I recall), but I'm not sure that Willis B. Davidson was his son. Some believe that BOTH of the above William Davidsons were married to Albright women. Comments?
