I have a copy of the book 'The Lake Victor Story' (written 1971). I have found a number of Bentons listed as members of the Methodist church. Also, there is a listing of the residents of Pleasant Hill Cemetery, which lists your Bentons as follows: J.N. Benton (b. 1876 / d. 1919) and Mary Alice Benton (no birth or death date listed). No other Bentons were listed. A number of Jones residents were listed, though.

Have you any other specific forenames to go with your surnames?

Shelley Musgrove
