Barbara, Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure what happened to John Davison Sanders, son of John Bunion Sanders and Lydia Armstrong. I only know John D. was b. 1862 in GA, and the family moved to Texas. Lydia died 18 May 1863 Burleson Co. TX, so John D. was a baby when they made the move. I also have that John D. married about 1884 in GEORGIA, but he was back in Texas by 1894 when his twin daughters, Effie and Ethel were born. His children born 1886-1892 may have been born in GA. John B.'s father, Henry, and his second wife, Sarah, came to TX in 1838. They lived in Guadalupe, Montgomery, Caldwell, Walker and Burleson Counties.

I am trying to trace all of the descendants of Henry Simeon Sanders, and his two wives. John Bunion Sanders was the son of Henry and first wife, Arphy Sims. Henry left Arphy about 1834/35 in GA, with five small children. He married Sarah Ann Elizabeth Harrison abt. 1835 in AL. Years later, Arphy also came to TX, with her youngest daughter, Nancy Ann Sanders Simonton, and Nancy's surving children and they settled next to Henry and Sarah. I am descended through Henry and his second wife, Sarah, from their son, Jonathan Simeon Sanders.

I would love to have Lydia's family. I have more on John B.'s sibs and their descendants, and I can take you back to his 3rd and possibly 4th ggrandfather and families, if you would like them. Here is what I presently have for John B. If you, or anyone who reads this, can add to this, please let me know.
